STRHS-Lawrenceburg Welcomes New Provider, Dr. John Dawson

Southern Tennessee Regional Health System - Lawrenceburg announced that John Dawson, MD will be joining our staff at Southern Tennessee Primary Care on January 13, 2024. 

"We are delighted to welcome Dr. Dawson to our team at STRHS-Lawrenceburg," said Rhee Perry, Chief Executive Officer. "His extensive expertise in primary care is a tremendous asset, allowing us to enhance the healthcare services available to our community and address a vital need for comprehensive primary care."

Dawson received his Bachelor of Science from Mississippi College, along with his Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Mississippi Medical School.  Dr. Dawson has worked in both family and emergency medicine since 1984, and most recently served as a Family Practice and Emergency Room physician at Atmore Community Hospital in the Bay area of Florida.

"Building strong relationships and providing exceptional care is at the heart of my practice, and I look forward to being a part of this vibrant area."

As a board certified physician, Dawson specializes in adult primary care, preventative care, lacerations, and minor injuries and fractures.
