STRHS-Lawrenceburg Welcomes Adrienne Gowen as Newest Provider

Southern Tennessee Regional Health System - Lawrenceburg announced that Adrienne Gowen, FNP-C has joined its medical staff and is offering primary care for patients at First Choice Health in Lawrenceburg. 

“We are excited about the addition of Mrs. Gowen to our First Choice Health team offering primary care in Lawrenceburg,” said Mike Howard, Chief Executive Officer of STRHS-Lawrenceburg. “Gowen brings so much vast experience in primary and urgent care in the hospital setting, and her expertise in patient care will expand our ability to provide high-quality care close to home.” 

Gowen received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Tennessee Wesleyan College, along with her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Alabama, Huntsville.  Gowen has a wealth of experience in many areas of our hospital system, including Emergency Department, Labor & Delivery, and Medical Surgical Nursing.  Most recently, Gowen served STRHS-Lawrenceburg as the Emergency Department House Supervisor.

“I am so thrilled at the opportunity to help serve my home community,” says Gowen.  “I love the people of Lawrenceburg, and I’m thankful to continue my work with STRHS-Lawrenceburg in a capacity that allows me to provide a different level of care to patients.”

Gowen is certified by the Tennessee Board of Nursing and a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. As a Certified Nurse Practitioner, Gowen specializes in chronic disease management, preventative care, sports physicals, minor injuries, and sick visits.
